Finally got the basement DAW recording area up and running after a couple weeks of finding a new computer. The last day trying to get the Scarlett 4i4 to work. Installed the wrong version drivers. Duh. Problem solved. I just about gave up and plugged in the Audient iD4. Also upgraded from Tracktion Waveform 8 to 13. Major learning curve. Put down a few test guitar tracks. What is a band or album which had many radio hit songs, but has since been reduced over time to maybe 1 or 2 songs that are “remembered”?
My favorite example of this effect is Smashing Pumpkins, which, near as I can figure, has been reduced to the song "1979" despite them having numerous songs that got radio time during the 90s.
The organizers of the Tokyo International Choir Competition removed Taiwan's flag and changed the name under which Taiwanese teams competed after a Ch1nese complaint, and then removed the flags of all competing nations to address protests over its moves. The Nibun Chorus, a choir from Kaohsiung, won a gold medal.

Getting my week started with some early #80s art punk.
I love this record.
And if any of you come across it, don’t hesitate to buy it. Because it sounds incredible. I’ve never had an original of this, but I can’t imagine even an OG sounding better than this. The popular opinion is that this is superior to the original issue.
The rhythm section on this record in particular sounds fantastic.

Pharaoh Overlord is at it again! This time they're plunging into more my style of music, the single track has only one riff. And hurdy-gurdy. And growley vocals. And Aaron Turner of Sumac, Isis, Old Man Gloom fame.
It's kraut-ish, droney and screamy, so has some of the good things.
