It’s been a while since I’ve pulled this out, and I was in the mood for some Bob Mould magic, so why not go back to where it all began?
Numero did an awesome job on this incredible box set, which includes Statues, In A Free Land, Everything Falls Apart, and an alternate (and in my opinion SUPERIOR) version of Land Speed Record.
It also comes with a gorgeous 100+ page hardcover book.
It’s going to take me past Christmas making through it again its entirety, but I can’t wait.
Tonight, I’m starting with Everything Falls Apart, my all-time favorite HUSKER recording, and the first of theirs I ever bought as a kid (on CD).
Bob Mould is my absolute musical and songwriting hero of all time. This will never change. Ever.
He, combined with the otherworldly talents of Grant Hart & Greg Norton, changed my world forever.
